iMOT 2026: ORCA Transporter wins over motorcycle community as flexible transport and travel base
Munich/Kirchanschöring, February 2026 – With a strong showing at iMOT 2026 in Munich, Reiter Engineering successfully presented the ORCA lightweight transporter to the motorcycle community. Over the three days of the trade fair, the panel van was the focus of numerous technical discussions as a high-performance solution for motorcycle transport, racing operations, and mobile travel concepts.
As a central platform for motorcyclists and mobility experts, iMOT provided the perfect setting to showcase the practical design of the ORCA. The panel van combines consistent lightweight construction with a high payload and is aimed at users who are looking for a versatile transport vehicle without restrictions in everyday use.
A key feature of the ORCA is its innovative weight concept. With a gross vehicle weight of less than 3.5 tons and a payload of up to 1,600 kilograms, the transporter can be driven with a Class B driver's license. This makes it suitable for both private motorcyclists and professional racing teams who want to be flexible and independent on the road.
The ORCA is also designed to meet the requirements of motorcycle transport when it comes to loading and unloading. The loading height of just 52 cm makes it easier to load heavy machines safely and significantly reduces the need for steep ramp constructions.
The generous loading volume of up to 25m³ allows up to 6 motorcycles to be transported at the same time. This leaves enough space for tools, spare parts and other equipment without restricting accessibility in the vehicle.
Beyond its pure transport function, the lightweight transporter was also presented as a basis for modular living and sleeping solutions. This dual-purpose concept makes it possible to combine transport and accommodation solutions in one vehicle.
The trade fair appearance at iMOT 2026 underscored the growing demand for high-payload transport solutions for the motorcycle industry. Reiter Engineering draws a positive conclusion and expresses its gratitude for the great interest and intensive exchange on site.

Innovative transport solution from Bavaria at iMOT 2026: Reiter Engineering presents the versatility of the ORCA Transporter to the motorcycle community in Munich
Munich/Kirchanschöring, Germany – Following its successful presentation in Stuttgart, the ORCA Transporter will be on display at iMOT in Munich from February 20 to 22. The innovative vehicle from Reiter Engineering in Kirchanschöring, Upper Bavaria, will demonstrate why the ORCA is the new standard for logistics in the motorcycle community, whether for professional race days or individual adventure trips.
iMOT is the annual meeting place for motorcycle enthusiasts and mobility experts. In this environment, the ORCA demonstrates its strengths as a true dual-purpose vehicle: a super-light transporter with a total weight of less than 3.5 tons, offering an impressive payload of 1.6 tons, yet still able to be driven with a Class B driver's license.
With over 25 years of experience in motorsports, Reiter Engineering brings technical precision from the racetrack to the road. Thanks to its large loading volume of 25 m³, its core function as a motorcycle transporter is not compromised when additional modular living concepts are integrated. Motorcyclists no longer have to choose between their passion and practicality on the road.
Flexible, efficient, and suitable for everyday use
With a payload of up to 1.6 tons and a low loading height of just 52 cm, the ORCA offers ideal conditions for the motorcycle sector. The low loading height eliminates the need for steep, dangerous ramps when loading heavy touring bikes or racing motorcycles. In addition, the generous interior width allows machines to be transported side by side without obstructing access to equipment.
“In Stuttgart, we demonstrated the volume; in Munich, we are demonstrating the usability. We want to show motorcyclists and racing teams that they no longer have to compromise between a transport vehicle and a comfortable living space.”

Reiter Engineering launches the ORCA Transporter – A New Era of Lightweight Efficiency
Kirchanschöring, Germany – Reiter Engineering proudly announces the launch of the ORCA Transporter, a groundbreaking light commercial vehicle designed to redefine efficiency, versatility, and performance in everyday transport.
“We faced a significant challenge: our racing team regularly transports cars, equipment, and personnel across Europe always under extreme time pressure and with tight schedules. At the same time, we constantly strive to minimize costs related to fuel, tolls, and maintenance.
However, our existing fleet consisting of large trucks and a smaller 7.5-ton vehicle proved to be too slow, too costly, and subject to strict driving time regulations.
We needed a transport solution that combines the load capacity and volume of a truck with the registration and driving license requirements of a standard car (class B). In essence, we set out to create a vehicle that merged the performance of a sports car with the practicality of an eight-meter truck.
With the development of our modern “sports truck,” the ORCA, we believe we have achieved exactly that.” — Hans Reiter
With 25 years of motorsport expertise, Reiter Engineering brings its engineering precision from the racetrack to the road combining advanced materials, intelligent design, and a clear focus on efficiency in transport.
A Smarter Way to Move
The ORCA Transporter addresses a growing need for lighter, more efficient, and environmentally conscious transport solutions.
Built with a carbon rear structure, the ORCA achieves an exceptional balance between strength and weight, offering up to 1.6 tons of payload under 3.5 tons gross vehicle weight.
This innovation not only increases payload capacity but also reduces fuel consumption compared to conventional vehicles, supporting both economic and ecological goals.
Designed for Flexibility
With a cargo volume of up to 24,7 m³and a loading height of just 0.52 m, the ORCA Transporter combines practical functionality with modern design.
Its modular structure allows for a wide range of applications, from logistics, vehicle transport and trade to leisure like camping, motorsport, and horse riding.
And with a standard Class B driving license and high speed reachable of over 160m/h, the ORCA remains accessible and easy to operate, even with its impressive capabilities.
